Why I Serve as your Constable

I've been your constable for fifteen years now and I want to continue to provide the same personal service that I have from day one. With your continued support, I can do just that.

For a decade and a half I've been the chief civil enforcement officer for the Township of Laughlin. I'm responsible for such things as subpoenas, evictions, summons, and bank and wage garnishments. My job is one that requires both efficiency and good management skills.

But it also requires compassion and respect for the dignity of those of our fellow citizens who have fallen on difficult times and the ability to recognize when referral to the appropriate community agencies is needed. For years I have built on this principle to create a portal for social services and government representation for any resident in need.

I've been actively involved in county, state, and national politics, and I have advocated for genuine lasting change in how government works and interacts with its citizens. I've been happily married to my lovely wife Linda since 1984 and I'm the father of two grown children, Gina and Brandon, and the grandfather of Emma.

What is a Constable?

Nevada constables are civil enforcement officers. The Laughlin Constable’s Office serves all justice courts and both the state and federal district courts throughout all of Clark County. We provide service of summons and complaints, civil subpoenas, public notices, and eviction notices, as well as enforcing wage and bank garnishments, writs of execution, attachment and possession, orders in aid of execution, eviction orders, civil bench warrants, cash keepers, till taps and other property seizures and conduct public auctions.
